Clients release of responsibility waiver
We would like to thank you for choosing 2 Rivers Guide Service where we offer the ultimate Bass Fishing Experience. We hold our guides to the highest level of responsibility but as with any sporting adventure there are always risks associated and laws to follow.
A trip is scheduled for an 8 hr time period beginning at boat launch.
Please have your appropriate fishing license before the scheduled trip. You may obtain it online at www.dnr.state.md.us; (licensing & titles) if you are uncertain which license is required for your trip, please call us for assistance. There is no guarantee that you will catch fish & each trip will produce a different number of fish caught. The Guides practice a catch & release of all fish as safety of the fish & maintaining the stability of the marine habitat is very important to our future fishermen, therefore, we do not bring any home - cameras are encouraged!
All of our guides are licensed and certified in Basic Life Support (CPR) and 1st Aid, we do provide life preservers on all vessels, however, practicing safe behavior while aboard the vessel will limit the potential of hazard, capsize or injury to the passenger, guide and other boaters. We do not permit alcohol on the vessel at any time during the duration of your trip.
2 Rivers Guide Service reserves the right to cancel any scheduled trip for safety reasons giving the client 2 days notice, in return, the client will receive a full refund of the deposit and any other payment made for the trip. The guide may also end a trip in the event of an emergency, inclement weather or any other safety reason. The client reserves the right to cancel a scheduled trip for any reason giving the guide 2 days or 48 hrs notice to receive a refund of the booking fee and any other payment made for the trip. If there is less than 2 days or 48 hrs cancellation notice, the client forfeits all rights to the booking fee of $100.00. (There is a $30.00 fee for all returned checks)
Upon signing this waiver you agree to the terms above and understand that 2 Rivers Guide Service (and the guides) is not responsible for the loss of personal items or injury to person or property. You knowingly accept the terms and risks associated and waive all rights to any claim or compensation. At no time may you or any representative on your behalf file suit against 2 Rivers Guide Service or the guides nor hold 2 Rivers Guide Service or the guides responsible.
The guide reserves the right to amend any of the above terms in writing prior to vessel launch and requires the signature to amendment of both parties. This waiver is valid for all trips taken in the year signed no matter the number taken. A new waiver is to be signed each new year a trip is taken.
